You leave the Riad in the morning and your driver takes you to Ouzoud falls (circa 167 km, 2h30m trip).
Ouzoud is the Berber word for “olives” and refers to characteristic olive cultivations of this area. Ouzoud falls are 100m high and are subdivided in three levels. Along the way there are many souvenir stands and at the end you can decide to take one of the boats that bring visitors on the other side (otherwise you can walk on a bridge).
This is a very quiet and relaxing site, where Moroccan people come and get some coolness in the summer.
With a just 2 km walk from the falls, you can easily reach the nice Berber village Tanaghmelt (optional).
Lunch is served in a characteristic and picturesque restaurant by the falls.
In the evening, back in Marrakech.
